The Arizona Commission for Postsecondary Education (ACPE) consists of 16 Commissioners, fourteen of whom are Governor appointed, dedicated to expanding access and increasing success in postsecondary education for Arizonans. Core responsibilities of the ACPE are related to student financial assistance programs including administration of state grants, scholarships, forgivable loans, and the Arizona Family College Savings (529) Program.
By statute, the Commission is charged with focusing on the postsecondary needs of the unserved and underserved in Arizona. It is this call to equity that caused the Commission act upon a request for the ACPE to take on College Goal Arizona which is comprised of three programs - College Application Campaign, College Goal FAF$A and FAF$A Finish Line. These programs are generously funded through grants and sponsorships.
Our goal is to provide support from knowledgeable professionals and accurate and timely information to help students and families take the necessary steps to plan, enroll and succeed in a postsecondary institution while continuing to expand the College and Career Goal Arizona programs. Arizona's postsecondary institutions generously provided personnel and resources for the high schools and their students. A single calendar is hosted on this website, where high school events are posted and postsecondary institution personnel can be assigned to each event.
